Prince William dropped off Princess Charlotte for pizza night – SheKnows

Royals: sometimes they are like us. Prince William was spotted dropping off his 6-year-old daughter Charlotte at a pizza party last Sunday, carrying a gift wrapped in pink paper. The celebration was organized by one of Charlotte’s classmates, according to for daily mail, and the prince arrived at Il Pagliaccio restaurant in casual dad clothes: brown sweater and jeans.

Prince William returned a few hours later to collect Charlotte and refused a request from Teo Catino, the owner of the pizzeria, for a selfie. In a full-circle moment, Catino said The daily mail that Princess Diana was actually a big fan of Il Pagliaccio.

“When she returned from her gym sessions at a nearby gymnasium, Lady Diana stopped by me, still accompanied by her bodyguards, and ordered Margherita and a salami pizza. And then back home to eat them with the two children.

Prince William has certainly had more relatable dad moments than you would expect from a royal. Like this time PEOPLE reported William had to watch YouTube tutorials to figure out how to style Charlotte. “Never try to do a ponytail!” he advised. “Nightmare.”

Or, that other time the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s Instagram account posted a photo of the three children warmly addressing their father, in honor of his birthday.

So what’s the key to parenthood as royals with at least one little a bit of normalcy? “Because of who they are, William and Kate must have been very organized parents,” a source said. Recount The sun Last year. “But as parents, Wills and Kate have developed this brilliant talent for leaving as much as they can seem spontaneous and that’s how the kids see it.”

That doesn’t mean they’re totally free in their style though, the source added. “Table manners, thank you letters, small courtesies are instilled in children so that they become automatic. If George has been mean, and he has been on occasion, Kate and William are good at explaining to him the good and bad of what happened.

Hopefully the rewards for good behavior include a lot more pizza parties.
