Persona Board Games and Morgana Revealed for Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania
Sega has released quite a bit of news regarding Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania These last months. Along with the expected announcements of modes and other standard features, Sega has been gradually revealing a whole host of new playable characters from across the company’s various IPs. So far, Sega has released trailers for Sonic, Tails, Beat from Jet Set Radio and Kazuma Kiryu from the Yakuza series. And just today during the gamescom Opening Night Live broadcast, Sega revealed a bit more about Super Monkey Ball Banana Maniaincluding its selection of board games and the addition of personas 5 Morgana as a playable guest character.
Morgana’s new trailer showed the adorable mascot rolling around and collecting treasure chests instead of the usual bananas. Unlike Beat and Kiryu, Morgana looks exactly like he did in personas 5which makes sense, as his anthropomorphic appearance matches the Super monkey ball world pretty well. Unlike the other guest characters, Morgana will come to the game as post-launch paid DLC, which may seem off-putting to some, especially since it doesn’t significantly affect gameplay. Ultimately, gamers will have to decide for themselves if the $4.99 price tag is worth it.
What about board games?
The board game trailer, on the other hand, shows off several throwback minigames from past entries, including Monkey Target and Monkey Baseball. Those who do not know the Super monkey ball The series may seem ambivalent towards these minigames, but longtime fans remember them fondly for their surprisingly robust features, so those gamers are sure to enjoy revisiting their old favorites.
While throwback party games and Morgana don’t exactly come off as groundbreaking announcements, they’re still pretty fun additions to Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania. Players can try board games immediately when they banana mania comes out October 5, while those who want to try Morgana will have to wait until November 2 to do so.
