Oswego County to Host Family Event April 2 at Camp Zerbe | arts and entertainment

OSWEGO COUNTY – The Oreo® cookie turns 110, and Oswego County Parks and Recreation is celebrating the milestone with a family event at Camp Zerbe from 3-4 p.m. on Saturday, April 2. The free event will take place at the Camp Zerbe Lodge, located at 253 State Route 104, Williamstown. Kids ages 5-12 and their families are invited to come play cookie-inspired games like Eat ‘Em, Race ‘Em, Stack ‘Em and more.

The children will be divided into the following four age groups: 5-6 years old, 7-8 years old, 9-10 years old and 11-12 years old.

Located in Williamstown, Oswego County Nature Park at Camp Zerbe is a 540+ acre park owned by Oswego County and operated by the Oswego County Youth Bureau. It includes a nature interpretation center, pavilion, pavilion, playground and other amenities. Oswego County Parks and Recreation will host four week-long summer camp sessions at the site each week in July for children ages 6-12.

Camp Zerbe also offers pavilion and lodge rentals from May to November. Groups can call the Oswego County Parks and Recreation Department at 315-349-3450 for reservations, which are required for use of the meeting center, clubhouse, and clubhouse.
