IP Singh from Samajwadi party sends padlock as gift to BJP office in Lucknow, says “put it on after March 10 and go home”

Samajwadi (SP) national party spokesperson IP Singh on Tuesday sent a padlock as a gift to the Bharatiya Janata (BJP) party headquarters in Lucknow. The order was addressed to the head of the BJP of Uttar Pradesh, Swatantra Dev Singh.

This happened immediately after Uttar Pradesh Minister Swami Prasad Maurya resigned from the state cabinet and joined the SP in the presence of party leader Akhilesh Yadav.

Speaking to Twitter, IP Singh tagged Swatantra Dev Singh and wrote in Hindi: “Omprakash Rajbhar ji, Jayant Choudhary ji, Rajmata Krishna Patel ji, Sanjay Chauhan ji and now Swami Prasad Maurya ji are with the Samajwadi party. sent a padlock to BJP Headquarters @swatantrabjp ji as a gift, put it on after March 10 (Results Day) and go home. ” “It’s not a wave, it’s an SP storm,” he added.

Meanwhile, after Swami Prasad Maurya resigned from Cabinet and BJP, three other MPs, Roshan Lal Verma, Brijesh Prajapati and Bhagwati Sagar announced their resignations.

When are the Uttar Pradesh polls?

The Uttar Pradesh polls will take place in seven phases – on February 10, March 14, 20, 23, 27, 3 and 7. The results will be announced on March 10 along with the four other states of Punjab, Uttarakhand, Goa and Manipur.
