Family Support Services moves indoors for Harley’s 27th Annual Party

Family Support Services is hosting their 27th Annual Harley Party on Saturday from 5-9 p.m. inside the Amarillo National Center at the Tri-State Fairgrounds.

This year’s grand prize draw will be the winner’s choice of a 2022 Harley-Davidson Low Rider S, valued at $20,100, or a $15,000 VISA gift card. The event will also include free food and food for purchase at over 25 restaurants that will be in attendance; beverage options from six area vendors; and over 25 vendor stalls, including leather goods, jewelry, tattoo artists, and more.

“The money we raise through this event is used by Family Support Services to support the services we provide that are not funded by grants; it supports our annual variance costs,” said said Joette Campbell, Amarillo Family Support Services Development Manager.

Throughout the annual event, live music will be provided by The Stray Sons, Touching Voodoo and Lindsey Lane.

“The event was previously on Polk Street and then when we had our fire that destroyed our building in 2020. …And also because of the pandemic we didn’t have the party, but last year we We’ve moved to the Tri State It’s the same kind of street party we’ve always had, but now it’s going to be indoors It’s really just an event to bring together everyone who has supported us over the years “Campbell said.

More than 3,000 people from across the Texas Panhandle attended Harley Party 2021. This year's 27th Annual Harley Party will be held indoors Saturday, 5-9 p.m., at the Amarillo National Center in Tri- State Fairgrounds.

According to the development worker, people travel from all over the Texas Panhandle to attend the event every year, making it one of the biggest summer fundraisers in Amarillo. Each year, the event attracts over 3,000 attendees and attendees, and Campbell expects this year to do the same.

Each ticket holder eligible for the prize will also be eligible for a second chance for a $1,000 VISA gift card. No guest tickets are included in the reverse draw for the grand prize or second chance opportunity. Additional Second Chance tickets will be sold for $5 each.

For a chance to win the grand prize, attendees must purchase a $90 admission ticket that will allow the ticket holder and one guest to join the party.

Online tickets are no longer available, but tickets can still be purchased over the phone by calling 806-342-2500 or in person at the Amarillo Family Support Services office or Tripp’s Harley Davidson.
