Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath hit out at the Samajwadi party on Saturday, saying it has no development-oriented thinking.

Addressing a campaign rally in Baghpat, Adityanath said, “They (SP) don’t have any development-oriented thinking…It’s not on their agenda…when they were in power, riots were taking place everywhere…development was at a standstill. ..anarchy was at its peak but today there is no such scenario. There are no riots.

He further said that when the SP was in power, it withdrew the charges against those involved in the terrorist attack on Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya.

“The difference is clear, before 2017, when the PS government took the first decision to withdraw the charges against those accused of the terrorist attack against Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya. We gave up loans from farmers as soon as our government was formed,” the CM said.

The Chief Minister further said that the previous government built a Haj house, while a Mansarovar Bhawan was built in Ghaziabad under BJP rule.

“The previous government of Uttar Pradesh had built a Haj house in Ghaziabad. The BJP government built a Kailash Mansarovar Bhawan in Ghaziabad with state-of-the-art facilities at a cost of Rs 94 crore. Giving respect to the faith, this building is a great gift for the devotees. The difference is clear,” Adityanath tweeted in Hindi.

He also highlighted the work being done by his government including the restarting of Ramala sugar factory in the western region and the beautification works of a Shiv temple in Ghaziabad.
