Destin 4th of July Fireworks Show: City Event Plans 2022

DESTINY — In honor of Independence Day, the City of Fate and Compass Resorts will host the 36th Annual Independence Day Fireworks.

The fireworks display can be seen over the East Col and will begin at 9 p.m. on Monday, July 4. Tune into Z96 (96.5 FM) for simulcast music. In the an event bad weather, the pyrotechnic show will take place on Tuesday July 5 at 8:30 p.m.

Fireworks laws must be enforced, and if you plan to purchase legal fireworks, do so only from a state-certified fireworks distributor. Place used fireworks in a bucket of water before throwing them away, keep small children and pets away from fireworks, and never relight any that don’t work.
