Bloom brings together the best of the neighborhood and showcases local designers, producers and musicians for all to enjoy at its cafe and garden in Thebarton.

The Bloom Block Party will take over Winwood Street and surrounding areas with a full schedule of Makers and Producers Markets, food trucks, alley bars and two live music stages to keep you entertained all afternoon.

“We have been waiting six months to be able to organize an event of this magnitude again. One that brings together our entire community of Bloom residents, businesses and customers,” said Bloom co-owner Jack Nelligan.

The event is supported by the City of West Torrens as part of their “Westivalseries of events at various parks and locations across the west.

“With the Council’s support, we have been able to expand our popular seasonal markets on Winwood Street, making it a true block party with more live music and more producers and artisans involved than ever before,” said Jack .

Attendees can sip local beers from Bowden Brewing and Imperial Measures Distilling (of Ounce Gin fame) and savor the flavors with pizza from Anchovy Bandit, grilled treats from Bloom or vegan toast and pastries from Lator Gator. Top it all off with a pasture board from Lockwood General or a sweet treat from Sassi ice cream.

You can also pick up a special gift or treat yourself from artisans Homethrown by Jen, Sunsets and Eve, Craft Make Do, Pineapple Vintage, or See Someone Studio.

An extensive program from some of SA’s top musicians will also be in effect with chilled out tunes from Siberian Tiger and Atlantic Street Band and party vibes from the Busseys, Malibu Drive and Uke Death Squad.
